Book 4: Dreamfever - Jericho Barrons and his healing...powers.

Dreamfever (Fever, #4)Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where should I begin? Ah yes, Karen Marie Moning. It all comes back to her doesn't it? What can I say, after reading this book Karen, I...meep, you're just...

O EM GEE. Wow. I am hereby officially blown away.
Where to start but at the beginning. After poor Mac (yes poor Mac) was brutalized by the Princes, Jericho rescues her and..heals her...
with his kindness, and patience,and...
ah...unquenchable knowledge and, ah...

perseverance...yes!
(let's just say I actually contemplated knocking myself unconscious so I can lose all memories...)
that's right, he heals Mac and restores her to a bigger, badder, Mac 2.0 bad-ass extraordinaire! Woohoo! which sends Mac into a new objective, fulfilling her destiny and rallying her sisters to help her. But then, the shit his the fan. Mac is thrown into pure hell, and who's gonna come save her? Yup. You guessed it. Or will he???
We also learn from Dani, and what an amazing awesome woman she's gonna make one day, making Mac look like a girl scout by the time she turns 22. And Rowena...ah but I can't wait for her to die die die!!!
And the ending, Jesus,Mary, and Joseph can KMM torture a reader more with those blessed cliffhangers!!!!!

Christian!!!!!
Nothing has gotten done in my house since I started the series, so thanks a lot KMM, for picking me up, breaking me down, stomping on my heart, then rinsing and repeating!
I am but only a shell the woman I was when I started this series! One more book to go...Dear Lord, what's to become of me???

Hope you're happy KMM, book 5 here we go!!

Book 3: Faefever - JZB and Birthday cake, need I say more?

Faefever (Fever, #3)Faefever by Karen Marie Moning
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Where shall I begin...ah...
Holy. Hell.
This is the third installment on the Fever series by KMM - yes, her, evil genius, Literary drug pusher. Hi, my name is Esther and I'm a fever Addict. Hope you're happy KMM!
Okay.
Let's start with the ending. WTF!!

What...is...happening?!! gah!!
Mac Mac Mac!!! After I put up with her incessant rhetorical questions, her idiotic decisions, her indecision about wanting JZB - seriously??
The man is teaching you things that will save your life in the long run; gives you a place to live, a job, protects you, yet you run around with V'lane (which I don't blame you btw)

We learn more about Mac, and I finally understand the unique predicament she's truly in. Given what I've learned in this book, I hereby forgive Mac for her Rhetorical diarrhea.
Be advised: if you are going to read this book, make sure you have book 4 handy; because Really, the ending...

Having said that, I couldn't put this book down!!
PS: two words: Jericho. Barrons. He is still as compelling, enigmatic,

uh...where was I? oh yeah, fascinating character I've encountered in any series. Who is he? I don't know. WHAT is he? IDK. Do I care? NO. Do I love him? YES!!
Will I continue to read? oh Yea.

Book four, here we go!!

Second book of Fever series: The search for Jerricho Barrons continues!

Bloodfever (Fever, #2)Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Okay, so this just happened...I finished book 2, and I don't know anymore about Jericho Barrons than I did on book One. All book two gives us about him is more hotness, brooding, you-name-it --and I still don't WHAT he is!!

Mac knows more about what's going on with her, and she goes through some stuff, and Jericho saves her -- again -- seriously he should get paid for how much saves her.
Okay, so then I find out I have to wait until book five. FIVE! until I find out more about him. I don't think I can take it...

So how do I keep myself from skipping to book five, especially with the most annoying female character I've read about in a long time: Mac.
Mac, Mac, Mac. The queen of Rhetorical questions...
Why am I here? Where is Barrons? Who is Barrons? Why do I hate Ireland? Why is it always raining? Why am I so annoying? Why don't I grow up after everything I've been through?

Will I keep reading? Hells yeah I'll keep reading. Why? Because Karen Marie Moning is an evil genious, that's why. And because Jericho Barrons is...

uh, a really insteresting and intriguing character. Yup. Seriously, Karen Marie Books (Fever and Highlander series) are like literary crack!

Review of 'Rock It' by Jennifer Chance Release date: March 4, 2014

Rock It (Rule Breakers #1)Rock It by Jennifer Chance
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

yup...that's pretty much how I felt reading this book; like my 16-year old self dream come true. What a fun read!!!
I enjoyed this book immensely. The book tells the story of young Lacey, now grown up getting to meet her teenage idol through her job at IMO. Lacey has loved Dante as a teen -- the Dante she knew as a fan; now as an adult, she gets to meet the real thing. In turn, Dante falls for Lacey not aware what a super fan girl Lacey really was (or is).

Jennifer Chance manages to tell the story of two young people getting to know each other for who they truly are, vs. of who they think they are. As they fall in love, both discover new things about themselves, and get to figure out what they really want out of life. She also manages to make the characters interesting, multi-dimensional, and well-adjusted! hallelujah! Honestly, seems like all N/A books nowadays feature characters that are emotionally traumatized or damaged in some way, and the books seems to be riddled with torture and drama. This book as like a breath of fresh air. A nice, fun, quick, sexy read. (very sexy actually, without being crude or vulgar, yeay!)

I look forward to the next book in the series! Jennifer Chance as gained a new fan :).

DarkFever Series by Karen Marie Moning

Darkfever (Fever, #1)Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Although I liked the premise and it seems the series is a good one, I struggled with this book. There was a lot of background info as well as establishing the setting for the book. Through it all, I kept wondering about Jericho Barrons. Who is he, what is he?? My question was never answered. I have no choice but to keep reading the series -- I must know!!-- but right now my TBR list is downright ridiculous. I will continue with the series in the future.

The story Follows Mac to Dublin, where she has just found out her sister has been murdered. Since police has given up and declare her sister's murder unsolved, Mac is determined to find out what happened. Once is Dublin, she discovers the truth about what happened to her sister, and who she really is. Ive been assured that future books will shed light on who Jericho Barrons is -- which I'm dying to know! Therefore, I'm definitely sticking with the series. I love Karen Marie Moning's Highlander Time travel series, and highly recommend those. ;)
